We are very excited to announce vending opportunities at the AUSTIN BELLY DANCE CONVENTION, produced by Amara Dances, featuring Sharon Kihara and Sa'diyya and Master Percussionist Ozzy. We would love to have you join us for this event on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 24 - June 26, 2016.

Vendor Applications are due June 1, 2016 or until spaces are sold out.

We strive to a have a high quality and variety of vendors and merchandise. Filling out the application does not guarantee you a spot. Our vendor Director of Vendors, will get in touch with you.

The Austin Belly Dance Convention includes:

  • Over 25 hours of shopping time with a hand-picked collection of high quality vendors.
  • FREE admission for the public to the ballroom on Saturday and Sunday afternoon during the ABDC's Showcase.
  • Over 50 Hours of Belly Dance Classes and Presentations with a variety of offerings to please all levels and styles!
  • 2 Spectacular Evening Performance Programs: Friday evening's "Keep Austin Shimmying" Gala and Saturday evening's "Austin Raqs" Gala.
  • FREE admission to the Friday night showing of "Belly... The Documentary."
  • FREE full colored event program including Vendor List.

The Holiday Inn Midtown in Austin is convenient to downtown and the airport.  We expect the ABDC to be packed with happy shopping dancers. The event will also be open to general public for FREE on Saturday from 1:00-5:00 pm and Sunday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 pm.

Note: Ballroom has workshops and shows during vendor hours: Fri. 1:30 - 4:30 pm, and Sat. and Sun. 8:30 am - 12:30 pm and 7:00 - 10:00 pm.


  • Vending is in the Hill Country Ballroom and the Lobby.
  • Ballroom vendors are required to vend all 3 days. Lobby vendors may choose 1, 2, or 3 days of vending.
  • Lobby tables are not secured overnight. Vendors may move merchandise into the ballroom overnight.


  • Ballroom A: Approx. 6’ by 6’: $250.00.
  • Ballroom B: Approx. 16' by 4': $350.00
  • Ballroom C: Approx. 12’ by 6’: $400.00.
  • Ballroom D: Approx. 16’ by 6’: $450.00.
  • Ballroom E: Approx. 11'by 4': $450.00
  • Ballroom F: Approx. 18’ by 11’: $600.00.


  • Lobby Small: 1 banquet table (1 table = 6’): $60.00/day or $150.00 for 3 days.
  • Lobby Large: 2 banquet tables (1 table = 6’): $75.00/day or $200.00 for 3 days.


  • Vendors are responsible for processing fees.
  • The ABDC will send a link for payment or set up installment plan.
  • The number of tables, chairs, and racks will be set on an individual basis.
